Presidential Taskforce on Coronavirus yet to recieve communication on re-opening of schools

 

 

There are conflicting details from the Presidential Taskforce on Coronavirus and the National Planning Taskforce on the re-opening of schools.

The Presidential taskforce Co-Chair John Phuka claims that they have not received any communication from the taskforce mandated to look into the safe reopening of schools.

But the taskforce on the reopening of schools’ Chairperson Lewis Dzimbiri earlier told Capital FM that they have written the Presidential Taskforce which has noted their recommendation for schools to reopen next month.

Dzimbiri added that the Presidential Taskforce also asked for detailed guidelines on safety measures to be followed when classes resume.
