Carlo Ancelotti is targeting Man Utd’s Diogo Dalot to bolster his defensive options this summer.
The Portuguese full-back is out of favour at Old Trafford and could be one of the players offloaded to raise funds for United’s own transfer business.
Dalot has barely featured under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and knows he faces a battle to dislodge Aaron Wan-Bissaka in his preferred right-back role.
A similar scenario would face him at Goodison Park, with the right flank currently occupied by Toffees captain Seamus Coleman.
However with Coleman now 31, Ancelotti is looking for a long-term replacement and ex-Porto star Dalot fits the bill.
