Gvt Exploring Ways To Support Students With Gadgets And Data As One Way Of Achieving E-learning
Government says it is exploring ways to effectively support students with gadgets and data as one way of achieving e-learning.
Currently, schools remain closed due to Covid19, a development that has forced public and private institutions to start online lessons.
In statement signed by Principal Secretary for Ministry of Education, Chikondano Mussa said government is currently exploring ways with various partners so that all students are able to access online lessons.
According to Mussa, they are among other things arranging with the Higher Education Students Loans and Grants Board to allow students use their current funds to access the platforms and gadgets.
Meanwhile, government has challenged institutions to ensure they offer quality education during this time.
