Malawi Govt Asked to Invest More in Mining, Agriculture
In a bid to boost the country’s economy, Economic expert has asked government to invest more in mining, agriculture and tourism.
Collen Kalua an economic expert believes that if taken seriously, the three sectors have the potential to drive the country’s economy to greater heights.
The economy has however suffered a setback this year as it has been hit hard by the coronavirus pandemic which has left thousands jobless and failing to make ends meet.
State vice president Saulos Chilima is however optimistic that the country’s economy will revamp with the measures that have been put in place by the Tonse administration under President Lazarus Chakwera.
