Govt of Malawi to Announce New Board of Directors For Parastatals
The government has promised to announce new board of directors for various parastatals in the coming few days.
This follows the recent call by one of the civil society organizations for President Lazarus Chakwera to move with speed in appointing new boards.
Centre for Democracy and Economic Development Initiatives (CDEDI) asked President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera to immediately appoint Boards of Parastatals.
Chakwera dissolved the boards a few days after assuming the presidency.
In response, the government spokesperson Gospel Kazako has called for patience among the public on the matter.
