Pastor Salanje attacks Tonse Alliance leaders on three meals a day
Pastor Hastings Salanje of God’s Chapel International Church has come out of his cocoon to punch holes in the manifestos of certain political parties who are promising three meals per day and cheap fertilizer once voted in power, saying the promises are unrealistic.
Salanje’s remarks are a direct attack on Tonse Alliance leaders led by Dr. Lazarus Chakwera and Dr. Saulos Chilima who are moving up and down promising cheap fertilizer and three meals a day once voted into power in fresh polls.
“I have watched most of the manifestos of the politicians who are currently campaigning for the office of president in Malawi, but am suprised to see that all I hear is fertilizer azachipa and MUDZIDZADYA KATATU PA TSIKU , I said really you are running for the office of president of Malawi kuti athu azizadya KATATU pa tsiku? And fertilizer azatchipe? .
“What about building new roads and new cities in Malawi?” queried Salanje.
He added: “What about establishing new companies?
“Blantyre city is too old to call it a city, why can’t we create another city like taking down all the houses in Namiwawa andc put a new Blantyre city? Or the areas where there is Jamba park going all the to shoprite, we can build a new Blantyre city there.
“But our politicians all they are talking is about food food.
“When I was leaving Malawi Athu ankadya katatu pa tsiku but because of un visionary leaders lero yakhala fundo ya ma campaign.
“Malawians you need better leaders than these people.”
Malawi will hold fresh Presidential polls on June 23, 2020 following constitutional court ruling nullifying the May 21, 2019 polls.
